Knowing how to add your input cards & outputs with ease is a great time saver in Studio 5000 using RSlinx classic.

Being that we are doing a new plc training project for a batching station, we thought that showing every aspect of building this plc project would be a great experience for everyone.

This is video 2 of the Batching Station plc training, here is video 1 in case you missed it.
Video 1: https://youtu.be/yUbYDRXhSzE

What I/O cards are we using?
✔ ENBT card for plc communications
✔ 1756-IB16 DC input card
✔ 1756-OB16I DC output card
✔ 1756-IF8 Analog Card
✔ Powerflex 525 VFD

We use RSlinx Classic to find the I/O devices & also to find the firmware version to have a great chance of success when building the setup properly. This way, we can download the plc program without having any issue just like we will show in the very next video.

Video content:
0:00 - Adding An ENBT card into the I/O tree
5:00 - Adding a 1756-IB16 DC Input Card in the I/O tree
6:30 - Adding a 1756-OB16I DC Output Card in the I/O tree
7:40 - Adding a 1756-IF8 Analog card into the I/O tree
8:30 - Scaling Analog Inputs for a 1756-IF8 card
10:20 - Adding a Powerflex 525 VFD into the I/O tree
15:20 - Auto Device Configuration for a Powerflex 525 VFD

I hope it helped.

Thank you for watching the video.
