Glenn Greenwald recalls the Obama Doctrine for Ukraine & asks “What’s changed?”

While Obama was in the White House he was under massive pressure from establishment politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle to get involved in Ukraine and send them weapons. To his credit, he did not bend to the pressure. He laid out a compelling case for escalating in Ukraine was not the right course of action. Glenn Greenwald summarizes Obama's case and follows up by asking the critical question “what’s changed?”.

It's worth noticing that while Ukraine wasn’t on the radar of average Americans 7 years ago in 2015, pushing for escalation and weapons programs to Ukraine was very much on the minds of establishment politicians from both sides.
