Jordan Mason, Trey Lance, Talanoa Hufanga | Brandon Aiyuk Struggling? 49ers OTAs Winners & Losers

San Francisco 49ers OTAs continued last week and now it’s time to do some 49ers OTAs winners and losers part II. Jordan Mason out of Georgia Tech continues to impress and turn heads. The same can be said for Trey Lance with no Jimmy Garoppolo in attendance and lingering Jimmy G trade rumors. Talanoa Hufanga is competing for the starting safety spot opposite of long-time 49ers Jimmie Ward. Jauan Jennings is looking to carry momentum over from last year to the 2022 season and so far, he’s been a winner during 49ers OTAs.

49ers OTAs losers: The rookies of the 2022 NFL Draft class and the 49ers draft picks, including Drake Jackson, Danny Gray and Tyrion Davis-Price. The rookies didn’t participate when the media was on hand. Brandon Aiyuk has also been struggling while Deebo Samuel trade rumors continue because of no new Deebo Samuel contract. Oren Burks signed with the 49ers in NFL Free Agency as a special teamer and that’s shown early on.
