But let's pivot slightly to that. Because one of the things that have come out over the past week since that shooting. And I guess that was I don't know 20 mass shootings ago now that took place in Texas was an increase in the skepticism of particularly the police story coming out of Uvalde. But broadly speaking there seems to be sort of an opportunity to question things like maybe the way that the media and society look at the police is wrong. in a way that maybe the people who are talking about reallocating funds or defunding the police were correct. how durable do you think that sense will be or will make any difference? ah, it's really hard to say. It should. In us, we know we don't live in a sane world. We don't live in a rational world. but in a world that was at least roughly logical. it would be a complete reordering of particularly the news media's relationship with the police. I think we have seen at basically every step of the way that the police have been dissembling and untrustworthy. And that when faced with national scrutiny their story fell apart. and they have retreated to not cooperating with investigations. and not allowing the media to try to continue to investigate.
