Never Use This Type of Strap to Secure Your Kayak and New Kayak Trailer

So it took me a long time but I finally found a kayak trailer for a decent price and I bought it from someone off Facebook Marketplace. The trailer was bought from Academy Sports. The trailer is a McClain 12' - 14' Single-Axle Aluminum Jon Boat Trailer. I took off the 8" tires and ordered a set of 12" wheels from Amazon and also a spare and bracket.

Never use a ratchet strap when strapping down your kayak it can crack the hull without you even realizing it. I buy my straps from Great Outdoor Provision Company.
