UFC 257: Dustin Poirier defeats Conor McGregor via TKO in Round 2
In his highly-anticipated return to the Octagon, MMA superstar Conor McGregor was defeated at 2:32 in Round 2 via TKO (punches) by No. 2 ranked lightweight contender Dustin Poirier. McGregor’s loss in the rematch of the duo’s UFC 178 bout is his first defeat by way of a knockout in the UFC. With the win, Poirier moves to 27-6 with one knockout, while No. 4 ranked McGregor falls to 22-5.
