We often think of the creation account in Genesis as a chronology of God physically making the universe from scratch by verbal dictation. Is this how the ancient Israelite audience would have thought upon hearing the Genesis 1-2 story? Perhaps they had another view in mind that focused, not on the cosmos as a house (space, time, matter, energy, plasma, dark matter, dark energy), but rather as a home ordered as a sacred space for Yahweh's presence to dwell with His earthly imagers. In this episode we'll cover the House vs. Home Story of creation.
