Finding the Derivative
Can we figure out the rule for finding the derivative of a function without resorting to the usual confusing numeric methods? We can try to do it geometrically.
*NOTE: The slope of a vertical line is undefined; however, I use infinite rather than undefined to allow us to say a slope moves from zero towards infinite and vice-versa*
