The Convict - Exploring Tomorrow
"Many of the extra-terrestrial colonies have been founded and built by misfits, rebels, rejects from their own societies - the transported criminals - and they've made good men in the new frontiers but not all are good men in a bad spot..."
Exploring Tomorrow was an American old-time radio series which ran on the Mutual Broadcasting System from December 4, 1957, until June 13, 1958. An advertisement described it as "the first science-fiction show of science-fictioneers, by science-fictioneers and for science-fictioneers - real science fiction for a change!"
Exploring Tomorrow was narrated by John W. Campbell, editor of Astounding Magazine. Campbell guided the career of many of the great science fiction writers of the era
John Wood Campbell Jr. was an American science fiction writer and editor. His novella Who Goes There? was adapted as the films The Thing from Another World (1951), Horror Express (1972),The Thing (1982), and The Thing (2011) (Wikipedia)
