People with malicious intent, with overt or covert narcissistic attitudes, will gaslight you and try to convince you that you changed; when in reality: They're the ones who changed... or who later revealed their true nature to you once the dynamics changed.

It's funny how people change once you gain a significant amount of money or power. They're either happy for you, or they see you as a threat. But in the end, you discover who your real friends are: which are the ones who never changed and always wanted you to be happy and the best version of yourself.
