Jesus is still saying love one another just as I have loved you! The Lord has not said love one another by your definition of love! Love the way Jesus loved is NOT to pull from the Bible all the verses that you or someone else thinks look like love. This would still be love as defined by man. What Jesus did say is that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, will lead us into all Truth. This is love then, that you lay down your thoughts, lay down your life, and follow Him. The Spirit of Christ in you! Yes, die to self and live to Christ Jesus!
