BIG CATFISH! Dead End road living! Deer, recreation & more! Join us for today's episode, which will be very fun AND educational as we share one small part of our Journey, to 'living the dream,' with country living and land ownership. BTW... HAPPY FRIDAY! (01/29/21). In today's episode we will look back to 2014 and take you along for the ride of our First Illinois farm that we bought and lived in while we did a complete farmhouse rehab project on the house, all while I did some major land management improvements on the 20 acres of land that was located at the VERY end of a dead end road here in Southern Illinois! But today's episode will focus on the 10 acre piece of land that we ended up selling separately from the farmhouse, and you will learn why we had to sell it that way, and how was made some profit on it. We only owned this Illinois farm for a little over a year, but we were still able to make a profit on it! This Southern Illinois farm was by far one of our favorite 'low budget' farms that we had and we do cherish a lot of great memories from this farm! Located at the VERY END of a gravel, dead end road this farm had all the privacy that you could ask for, and 20 acres of land to play and live on! However, there was a problem! Join us in this video for the raw truth of land investing to see why we did not end up calling this farm our 'home,' and find out exactly why we sold it after barely a year of owning it! Furthermore you will learn how we were able to make a profit on this farm, even though we've owned it for such a short time.
