The How-To and History of the Sidecar Cocktail | Master Your Glass

On this week’s episode of MYG I show off my vintage Vespa and make a Sidecar cocktail. I also cover its history and some great books that mention the Sidecar cocktail.

***********************************
Sidecar Cocktail
2 oz. (60ml.) Remy 1738
1 oz (30ml) Cointreau
1 oz (30ml) Fresh lemon juice
Method (Shake and Strain): Moisten the rim of a cocktail glass with a lemon place in into a sugar bowl to rim the glass with sugar. Add all the above ingredients with ice into a Shaker.
Shake for roughly 10 seconds and strain into the chilled Cocktail Glass (Double strain for a cleaner version).
Garnish: None
