@VideoMattPresents meets up with alternative rock band The Honorary Title at the Legendary venue called Slims located in San Francisco. VMP captured this video in the spring of 2007 for the synthesis magazine and it was one of his favorite interviews.

Slim’s was a legendary San Francisco venue that was whatever you wanted it to be: a punk room; blues lounge; a hip-hop club. Since its opening, Slim’s proudly served as a pillar of live music for concert-goers of all ages. We’ve hosted some of the world’s greatest acts on their way to world-fame, like Radiohead, Green Day, and The Black Keys, and always welcomed rising newcomers to the stage every week. It was known for it’s no-frills aesthetics: no fancy decor, no bottle service; just good drinks and great music.

We were sorry to have to see it close, but the experience lives on in the memories of its staff, patrons, and the artists that played there. We hope to continue its legacy of memorable live music experiences at GAMH, but we will always miss Slim’s and remember it fondly.
