The Global Rebellion

I have been watching the GameStop rebellion starting from reddit, spreading throughout the United States, and now around the world. There are apparently people around the world taking part in this rebellion, but what are they rebelling against? It used to be a joke, but maybe there is a global apparatus that makes policy decisions for the entire world, and Wallstreet is at its center.

Even if that isn't entirely true, it seems to be the belief of those taking part in the so called rebellion. I personally haven't decided wether I should be cheering them on, or preparing for the disaster that is likely to come from this.

Whatever the case, the global establishment (which includes government, media, and big tech) has pulled out all the stops to try and bring this little rebellion to a quick end. Government regulators who should be investigating market manipulation by the brokerage firms who stopped trading on certain stocks in an attempt to reverse climbing prices in order to protect hedge funds (something that is very illegal).

These are interesting times, who knows where we go from here, but you can count on me to share my thoughts as it all unfolds. Leave your comments, I will try to address them.
