4 Essential Tequila Cocktails | Master Your Glass
On this episode of MYG I make 4 different classic Tequila cocktails. The Margarita, El Diablo, The Paloma, and the Tequila Sunrise.

The Margarita
1.5 oz. (45 ml.) Blanco Tequila
.75 oz. (22.5 ml.) Cointreau or another premium Triple Sec
.75 oz. (22.5 ml.) Fresh lime juice
Instructions: Rim half of a rocks glass with salt and add to ice it. Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake for roughly 10 seconds. Strain into the rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge.
El Diablo
1.5 oz. (45 ml.) Reposado Tequila
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Crème de Cassis
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Fresh lime juice
Top with a premium Ginger beer
Instructions: Add ice into a Highball glass. Add the ingredients in the order above and stir to mix them together with a bar spoon.
Garnish with lime wheel or wedge.
Paloma
2 oz. (60 ml.) Blanco Tequila
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Fresh lime juice
Top with Squirt or another Grapefruit Soda
Instructions: Rim half of a highball glass with salt and add to ice it. Add the ingredients in the order above and stir to mix them together with a bar spoon.
Garnish with a grapefruit slice or wedge
Note: Another way to make this drink is by pouring in the glass over ice:
2 oz. (60 ml.) Blanco Tequila; .5 oz. (15 ml.); Fresh lime juice; 2 oz. (60 ml.) Fresh grapefruit juice; 2 oz. (60 ml.) Soda water
Tequila Sunrise
2 oz. (60 ml.) Blanco Tequila
Fill almost to the top with Orange juice
.5 oz. (15 ml.) Grenadine
Instructions: Add ice into a Highball glass. Add the ingredients in the order above and stir to mix them together with a bar spoon.
Garnish with half orange wheel or wedge.
