Essential Watercolor Painting: Loose Landscapes (Free for first 100 students - link in description)

Tips: I painted the sky and land in one main wash - firstly wetting the entire surface of the paper generously with a large mop brush, then adding the sky colours (blue, fading down to orange/yellow). I carry this wash down into the mid/foreground and remember to mimic some of the warmer tones in the water near the horizon line. While the paint is still wet, I add darker pigments in to create clouds and darker areas in the foreground. Using a smaller brush helps to get in smaller clouds and shrubs etc.
