On this episode of MYG I open a package of a vintage cocktail book form 1862. It’s the $2 version of Jerry Thomas’s Bartender Guide. However, I make an innocent mistake… Then I make a Parisian Pousse Café using the recipe from the book.

Parisian Pousse Café
1 oz. (30ml.) Ferrand Dry Curaçao
1 oz. (30ml.) Kirsch
.5 oz. (15ml.) Green Chartreuse
Instructions: Carefully layer the three ingredients with the use of a barspoon to help soften the impact of each ingredient as it gets poured in.
