Apostolic Doctrine 10-minute Bible Study

Today's Christianity does not preach the same Gospel message the Apostle preached. Compare what the Bible says about being saved to that which you hear in most churches today, which is a form of cheap grace. Jesus told us in Matthew 24 that many would come in his name say he is the Christ and deceive many. Most of the denominations came from Catholicism which is a Christ centric religion fused with the practices and beliefs of pagan Rome. The Catholic Church became the State Religion which gave them a lot of power and influence for nearly 1400 years until the reformation. The reformers were on the right track when they divorced themselves from the corrupt papacy, but they never reformed fully back to the Apostolic Faith of the Bible. The truth does not change just because you disagree with it, but it will make you free if you embrace it. I have always been a strong proponent of using scripture to interpret scripture, not the dogmas, doctrines, traditions and interpretations of men.
