Lifeboat (1944)
Several survivors of a torpedoed ship find themselves in the same boat with one of the men who sunk it.
In regards to the filmmaking, this is one of Hitchcock's greatest achievements. I love the small setting (only a lifeboat), dialogue and acting. Tallulah Bankhead beautifully plays a laid-back shipwreck survivor; she steals the show, and the dialogue somehow keeps you involved in what seems like, at first glance, a boring movie. It is important to note that this movie is different than other Hitchcock films, it's not as tense and thrilling as others such as psycho or even The 39 Steps. That being said, it's still definitely worth a watch because of its unique setting, filmmaking, and its psychological questions of morality.
