Thomas Hamilton Reviews: "Wolfenstein The New Order"

Epic Games Free Game for the week of June 2, 2022.

I uploaded this a day latter because I started playing it again. My overall score stands the same 7.5-8 game, but the game seems way too scripted to truly be a great game and gets frustrating for no good reason. Example the stealth mechanic promotes exploration but the levels are largely linear. The double gun is fun but there are too many enemies that can tank tons of damage that it makes them pointless. As mentioned in the video this seems like a Doom 2016 beta rather than a complete game (look at the double shotgun design and the way you can climb up some surfaces but not others for evidence).
