Miuka Falls, South Carolina -- 4K Cinematic

Miuka Falls is an easy and short hike in Mountain Rest, SC. This hike has a wide trail that begins in the Cherry Hill Camping Area. This falls was previously referred to as "Cheohee Falls". As you approach the end near the falls, the trail offshoots from the "Winding Stairs" trail to the falls. To get down close to the falls requires some scrambling as there is no proper path all the way down. However, there is a good vantage point of Miuka Falls on top of a huge rock next to the falls that is easily accessible. Miuka Falls is a lesser-known waterfall than many others, but it really deserves more visits due to the size and beauty. I have visited this falls many times and it is a huge payoff for such a short hike.
