Today's video is all about how to build and put together a Homeschool Unit Study.

We are a homeschooling family with five kids at home, six kids total. Our channel is about large family life, homeschooling, and finding the blessing in everyday. I am currently homeschooling a teenager, two elementary aged children and a preschooler. (I am also homeschooling our toddler-but some people don’t consider that homeschool-I do!)

Monthly unit studies have always peaked my interest. I adapted the way that I wanted to pursue this. Each month I am taking the common and uncommon celebrated days and we are going to research them.

Feb 2nd is groundhogs day
Feb 2nd is world wetlands day
Feb 5th is Safe internet day
Feb 11 is Women and Girls in Science Day
Feb 12 is productivity Day
Feb 13 is Radio Day
Feb 14 is Valentine’s Day
Feb 28 is National Science Day
Feb 29 is Rare Disease Day

Not everyday is easy, but everyday is a blessing.

Here on our channel I create a lot of homeschooling content. We are currently using The Good and The Beautiful curriculum for language arts and history.

For math we are really enjoying teaching textbooks. I heard about teaching textbooks through some other amazing homeschooling mamas and we have really grown to love it.
