Something is wrong with America [One Americans Reaction After Moving Back from Abroad]

Something is wrong with America. I feel as though I have crossed over to another universe. In fact, that seems more and more likely (Im kidding of course) as time goes on. How did we get here? What went wrong with America? when I left someone living in a rural community may not have understood the lifestyle of someone in a large city, but they didnt hate them. The same was true going the other direction. While in China I always imagined how great it would be to return to America and be able to speak my mind freely online, but now we seem to be more censored than modern day China. What is wrong with America today?
