Quarter Horse’s first ride by trainer

This is Conner and Gunner. I had ridden Gunner in the round pen one time before I blew my knee out. After everyone fussing at me for training him myself I decided to let Conner put 30 days of riding time on him. The First week he had him it rained all week so he didn’t get to work with him much. This was the second week but the first time Conner had had a chance to ride Gunner. I was proud of his calm demeanor. I knew he would be no trouble to ride. Conner said the only problems have been with tying him up. After about ten minutes he gets impatient , blows up and flips over. The other thing is he wants in your space. At least he has no trouble with catching Gunner. He want in your pocket most of the time.
