SOMEONE'S THERE (Spiritual) Words & Music by Jeffrey Joseph Arnold

'Someone's There' was written 40 years ago, when Jeff lived in New York City during the 70's and 80's. Was actively involved with his music writing and performing in nightclubs. He also worked as a stage manager at the famous Rainbow Grill atop the RCA Bldg. where he had the good fortune of working with legendary musicians like Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington. Benny Goodman also hired Jeff as his personal valet and let him sit in on one of his recording sessions and after hearing an old Spiritual they recorded, he was inspired to write 'Someone's There', which later won him First Prize in a National Songwriting Contest for Gospel Music. The song has a comforting and beautiful message.
