The Baofeng UV-9S is an inexpensive tri-band radio that is perfect for keeping in the car in case of an emergency or giving to your young ham. At the time of this video the UV-9S was about $37 USD. I will show you some of the ways I initially setup the Baofeng UV-9S and how to use CHIRP software and manually program it. The UV-9S also has a menu setting for deleting a specific memory. something I wish all of the other manufactures did.
