Tech_Minute: What is Opensource Software?
2
Open-source software is computer software that is released under a license in which the copyright holder grants users the rights to use, study, change, and distribute the software and its source code to anyone and for any purpose. Sometimes this software can be behind Paywalls if there is a need for additional features or needs. However, Opensource software can be beneficial to startup companies that need software at a lower to no cost.
