Homeschooling during the winter can be rough! Homeschooling during the winter in the middle of a pandemic - EVEN WORSE! This video is in collaboration with Christi over at One Blessed Mess. This is all about how homeschooling during the winter doesn't have to be so bad. You can still keep your kids active and productive.

We are a homeschooling family with five kids at home, six kids total. Our channel is about large family life, homeschooling, and finding the blessing in everyday. I am currently homeschooling a teenager, two elementary aged children and a preschooler. (I am also homeschooling our toddler-but some people don’t consider that homeschool-I do!)

Being cooped up in the house is no fun! Ok, maybe it could be fun for a day or two. After a little bit of being cooped up we have GO TO GET OUT! Homeschoolers can fall into a rut of cabin fever. As homeschoolers we need to fight this fever! In today’s video I tell you a bit about how we fight cabin fever in our homeschool.

Not everyday is easy, but everyday is a blessing.

Here on our channel I create a lot of homeschooling content. We are currently using The Good and The Beautiful curriculum for language arts and history.

For math we are really enjoying teaching textbooks. I heard about teaching textbooks through some other amazing homeschooling mamas and we have really grown to love it.
