First Channel Strike!

Getting my youtube "warning" really deflated me back in August when I had just been up for a little over a month. Waking up to my "first strike" was really scary. I've just barely qualified for monetization and it took a long time and the help of a lot of great people, several of whom have since been stricken from Youtube altogether.

But, I followed the appeals process this time and in this case, at least, I've been vindicated and my channel status restored! But Youtube sets their own policies and until state laws or federal laws or the Supreme Court says otherwise, content creators are here on this platform only as a guest that can be disinvited at any time. So it's important that you scroll down and follow me on other platforms as well if you enjoy my perspective.

I regret now not appealing the warning when it came. Now it's too late and "warnings" never go away. I might have won an appeal. Maybe not. But one thing is certain: you'll never win an appeal you didn't ask for.
