On this Memorial Day, I'd like to thank all of the Gold Star families—the families of veterans who have lost their lives fighting for this country. It's their sacrifice that made it possible for me to safely sit in this studio and film our program, and for all the viewers to sit at home and watch it. Let's never forget their sacrifices.

According to newly released White House documents from 2004, the George W. Bush administration was conducting a classified review of the president's secret emergency powers, which they believed granted the president access to a "kill switch" that could turn off internet access to all, or most, Americans.
