Info from Licensor: "This is the stocking of river herring in Stetson pond in Stetson, Maine. This is an attempt to establish a sustainable river herring population. These fish will make an annual migration to the Atlantic Ocean. While they are in the pond they will help with algae control and provide another feeder fish for the existing position of fish. This service was provided by the Maine Department of Marine Resources."
