The 4th of july of 2021 was an awesome day, as you seen in a previous video I had caught the Wabash NS1070 in the Watkins yard just after midnight, and in the morning I set out fishing at the Rickenbacker intermodal yard in South Columbus Ohio. and there's where I caught this beauty. The NS8100 Nickel Plate Road. frigging awesome. Since it was a great day I set out for Ashville Ohio and caught a lot of action which I will get posted soon.

New York, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad (NW, GE) was known commonly as the Nickel Plate Road, a moniker it acquired when the Norwalk (Ohio) Chronicle referred to it in 1881 as “the great New York and St. Louis double track, nickel plated railroad,” supposedly indicative of its solid financial backing.
