Start up of NS4001 Blue Nose Sonic AC44C6M

Turn up your volume, as I was not close enough for full sound capture, but it still sounds great. The Blue Nose paint (The Sonic bonnet) designated that the NS 4001 and the NS 4000 were prototypes for the DC to AC traction conversion program. Both the NS4001 and the NS4000 were built in 1995 by GE as a standard cab C40 dash 9 they were NS8879 for the NS4001 and NS8799 for the NS4000. After widening the cab and the completed rebuild, they were designated as AC 44c6m's. I hope you enjoy the start up as much as I did as you don't catch this very often.
