Tonight, the Blue Green Vacation Duels determine starting position for the Daytona 500, and for six, the dream of starting the biggest race. Who makes it in? Who goes home?
1.The obvious pick for at least one spot would be Austin Cindric, but he has been known to have foul ups on the big tracks.
2.Noah Gragson has an uphill battle after failing inspection three times and not even being allowed to complete a lap
3. Timmy Hill has shown his ability on Superspeedway tracks, but his 66 was down on speed.
4. Garrett Smithley, like his MBM teammate Hill, has an uphill battleto make his first 500.
5. Ty Dillon got the boot when his team shut down last season, sending him scrambling for a ride, landing in the 96, which is also down on speed, by Dillon has shown he can run well on the High Banks
6. Kaz Grala got the nod to try and get the Kaulig 16 into their second 500.
***Should David Ragan and Ryan Preece race their way in during their duels, the final two spots, based on speed, would go to Cindric and Grala***
Timmeh, Smithley, Dillon and Gragson can only be in the 500 by racing in.
