US may sell MQ-1C Gray Eagle large strike UAVs to Ukraine

The Biden administration is considering selling 4 MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones, a modification of the MQ-1 Predator drone that the US has used extensively in Iraq and Afghanistan, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, notes Reuters, citing informed sources. The MQ-1C is about 3 times the size of the Bayraktar-TB2, with corresponding benefits in payload, range and endurance. They can fly autonomously for more than 30 hours, depending on the tasks, and collect huge amounts of data for reconnaissance purposes.
