Twist Holds Fixed My Neck and Back Pain

Fun fact: while I've always been into fitness, the reason I started researching progressive calisthenics was because of my neck.

At the time, I was only doing pushups and figured I was neglecting other parts of my body, so I started looking for a full body routine.

I was also having some nagging neck pain that I hoped some exercises could help.

I picked up Convict Conditioning (highly recommended read—the basis for many exercises on this channel). The bridges were a pleasant surprise for my neck and helped alleviate the pain a lot.

It wasn't until I read the sequel (Convict Conditioning 2) that was I was introduced to twist holds. When done consistently, these eliminate my neck pain entirely. I hope they can do the same for you!

It's also a valuable mobility exercise that can help us in many athletic movements such as throwing, punching, or anything that involves twisting.
