Why should we remember Lot's wife?

Lot's wife was mentioned one verse in the Old Testament and one verse in the New Testament. That's it. Many nameless people in the Bible have gotten a lot more verses than her.

However, there is still a reason to remember this woman and her end. Her fate can teach us a lot about God, His Kingdom, and the people who are involved with its establishment.
