Central Thought:
The Israelites sowed betrayal and disobedience against God and so they reaped destruction and eventually called out to the one true God to help them in their distress. When we should sow obedience and come under the New Covenant with God our Creator through Jesus Christ we will reap the true joy and peace that is found in this relationship with Him.
