Deborah and Barak : Unique Giftings United in Purpose (Judges 4 - 5) | Book of Judges Bible Study

Central Thought:
God can use both men and women to accomplish His purposes to destroy our spiritual enemy.

We need to recognize and discern giftedness and calling over gender.

We see a teamwork here in Deborah and Barak. Each knew what they were each called to do by God and they obeyed God. Deborah was called to discern the will of God for the nation of Israel, communicate that will, direct Barak in battle, and Barak was called to physically execute that will by going into battle to fight the enemy.

When we let God direct the roles and functions, we will see His miraculous work and not stifle in Spirit working in the body of Christ.
