Uvalde police chief Pete Arredondo believed children were no longer at risk

Pete Arredondo treated the gunman as a barricaded suspect rather than an active shooter and believed children were no longer at risk. Which He also, refused to be cooperating with the investigation and interviews. He has caused the death of 19 children and 2 adults he needs fired then jailed for all the damage he has caused.
