Official Launch Of Lethbridge Solar System Model - June 1, 2022 - Micah Quinn

Lovers of the solar system are set for a treat in Lethbridge. The Lethbridge Astronomy Society has put together a life-sized model of the solar system that is scaled to the full size of the dome of the clock tower at the post office in our city’s downtown. The president of the society, Tom Anderson, explained that the project is a long time coming and will be a great tourist attraction for Lethbridge.

The model was supported and funded by 30 project members from Lethbridge and across southern Alberta.
