As miserable as the storm appeared, Ares just shakes all the bad feelings off🐕😅😂

In the winter, Tahoe is a wonder land. It is critical to get the dog used to snow, real snow, like 10 feet (300cm) per week type of snow. Luckily, Jack Russell Terrier has no issue with it. They were originated in UK for hunting where winter can be brutal. Their fur are not the warmest like a Husky's triple layers, but so long they have food they will move constantly to keep themselves warm.

We use hand stripping method for Ares which also helps his hair to be weather proof.
