Russia's Minister Of Defence Presents Two Battle Injured Female Troops With Medals (For Courage)

🇷🇺 Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, awards Russian servicemen who distinguished themselves during special military operation. The event took place at the Mandryk Central Military Clinical.

Medals “For Courage” were presented to two female service persons – warrant officer Ekaterina Ivanova and lieutenant Maria Miroshnichenko. On February 28, Ekaterina Ivanova, in the area of Chupovka settlement, provided medical assistance to wounded soldiers and officers, trapped in crossfire. She personally carried three servicemen out of the shelling, and when providing medical assistance to one of the servicemen, she covered him with herself and received shrapnel wound. Miroshnichenko in the same battle saved lives of four servicemen and also received shrapnel wound.
