Enough Already Chapter 9: Somalia

Scott Horton walks through the events that lead up to statelessness in Somalia and beginnings of prosperity which were abruptly ended by American intervention and Ethiopian invasion. Then, famine made the situation unbearably bad when food distribution collapsed and 260,000 people, mostly children, died. Finally, he concludes with a discussion of the rise of Al-Shabaab, terror attacks, and Kenyan intervention.
