The Flesh never forgets a pleasure it has known?

Joh 3:26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizes, and all men come to him.
Joh 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
Joh 3:28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
Joh 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
Joh 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

What is the Key to “Self decreasing”

Your enemy is “The Flesh” and the flesh never forgets a single pleasure it has ever known?

Paul made it clear in Romans 7 & 8 that the battle between the flesh and the soul will rage on as long as you live?

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.

The flesh will not diminish with age, the flesh will never settle down or chill out?

So what is the key? The Key is you are completely forgiven, so rejoice in the Lord and press on.

When You fall, get up dust yourself off and move forward, put God first in your life and the flesh will have to follow behind.
