Zelensky says wont rush to "de-occupy" territories "without living Ukrainians" held by Russia

Defeat is now merely a delayed de-occupation when better conditions later arise. Zelensky said that he is not going to "de-occupy" Donbass, Zaporozhye, Kharkiv and Kherson regions, occupied by Russia

"Ukraine will not rush to de-occupy temporarily occupied territories if it requires tens of thousands of victims..." Zelensky said and added that Kyiv would "wait for the necessary weapons."

"Because these territories without living Ukrainians are, frankly, not a priority for us," he added.
