Tips Up at Papa's | 2021 Ice Fishing Derby for Project Veteran Muscle

I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t think there would be many people attending this event. I left the warmth and comfort to head over to Papa’s Blue Spruce Resort while it was snowing and a frosty -5 degrees outside.

Papa’s is located just outside the City of Lake Geneva in a quaint and cozy nook of the woods overlooking beautiful Lake Como where the ice fishing derby was being held.

Project Veteran Muscle, a non-profit to help veterans in need, organized this event with the help of Papa’s Blue Spruce Resort to raise funds so PVM can continue its mission.

The Arctic temperatures weren’t stopping anyone from participating or attending this event. From the staff, volunteers, and participants, the venue was brimming with excitement, joy, and togetherness. Whether it was new faces or regulars, warm hearts were abounding.
