Phillip Augustin Set To Surrender To Coleman Federal Prison Camp For 78 Months. PPP Fraud

Phillip Augustin was part of a scheme to fraudulently obtain over $35 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

Phillip Augustin pleads to one count of 18:1349 Conspiracy To Commit Wire Fraud which he received a sentence of 78 months in federal prison. Phillip has since received his designation which is Coleman Federal Prison Satellite Camp. He is set to self-surrender on the 8th of June 2022. In addition to his prison sentence, Phillip Augustin was also given 36 months of supervised release once he has completed his prison term along with Six Million in restitution to be paid back for his role.
