Tour In R House - Mystery By Domenack Arquitectos In ASIA, PERU
Description sent by the project team. The project is the result of a very specific requirements program. The main objectives were two: that the owners could use the house on a single level, when they did not have visitors, and try to control the incidence of the sun on the spaces for social use throughout the day.
A two-level house was designed considering these objectives, where the basic functions were limited to the access level. The secondary bedrooms, living room and service area were located on the lower level.
The general volume of the house is the product of the intention to control the incidence of the sun on social spaces. To achieve this, the terrace area was separated from the internal block, giving rise to two volumes separated transversely by an open space. This separation allows creating shade in the social area at different times of the day, but at the same time it promotes the entry of light and cross ventilation to the internal block and the spaces on the lower level.
The house is conceived as two abstract volumes, in tension, that frame the landscape.
